Microbiota‐Host Immunity Communication in Neurodegenerative Disorders: Bioengineering Challenges for In Vitro Modeling
نویسندگان
چکیده
Human microbiota communicates with its host by secreting signaling metabolites, enzymes, or structural components. Its homeostasis strongly influences the modulation of human tissue barriers and immune system. Dysbiosis-induced peripheral immunity response can propagate bacterial pro-inflammatory signals to whole body, including brain. This immune-mediated communication may contribute several neurodegenerative disorders, as Alzheimer's disease. In fact, neurodegeneration is associated dysbiosis neuroinflammation. The interplay between microbial communities brain complex bidirectional, a great deal interest emerging define exact mechanisms. review focuses on microbiota-immunity-central nervous system (CNS) shows how gut oral populations trigger cells, propagating inflammation from periphery cerebral parenchyma, thus contributing onset progression neurodegeneration. Moreover, an overview technological challenges in vitro modeling microbiota-immunity-CNS axis, offering interesting hints about most advanced solutions current technologies provided.

متن کاملHistory of Innate Immunity in Neurodegenerative Disorders
The foundations of innate immunity in neurodegenerative disorders were first laid by Del Rio Hortega (1919). He identified and named microglia, recognizing them as cells of mesodermal origin. Van Furth in 1969 elaborated the monocyte phagocytic system with microglia as the brain representatives. Validation of these concepts did not occur until 1987 when HLA-DR was identified on activated microg...

focus on communication in iranian high school language classes: a study of the role of teaching materials in changing the focus onto communication in language classes
15 صفحه اولhdac inhibitors in neurodegenerative disorders
neurodegenerative disorders such as huntingtons disease, alzheimers disease, parkinsons disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, spinal muscular atrophy, friedreichs ataxia, and others are multi-factorial illnesses in which many pathways (still poorly understood) act serially and in parallel to give a determined pathologic phenotype. thus, presently there are no effective cures for these disease...
